Crowther Overton-Hart was formed by bringing together the two successful practices of Crowther and Co and Overton-Hart.  Both practices were founded in the 1980s and have been trading continuously since. From our offices in the historic market town of Steyning, we cover a wide area of southern England, with the bulk of our work being centered on the area between London and the south coast.

Our mission is to deliver technically excellent, well-presented and client-focused advice for a reasonable fee, in order to secure repeat business wherever possible.  As we have worked with some of our major clients for up to 25 years, we believe we can justifiably claim to have fulfilled our aims.  However, we still try to improve our service where we can, and we understand that, in a changing market place, a fresh approach is sometimes needed. This is why we invest in training and developing our team, and why we believe that forming strong relationships is the key to fully understanding our client's needs. As well as being an RICS Regulated Firm, we have internal quality assurance procedures to ensure we maintain our high standards and all our projects are undertaken or overseen by a senior member of staff.

Our services cover almost all of building surveying and building design, and when needed, we can call on an established network of consultants including engineers, quantity surveyors, asbestos surveyors, fire safety advisors and interior designers.  We also maintain a detailed and audited contractor database to ensure we find the right team for your project.
